Ah guys remember the Fall - the beautiful colors, the warmer temps and the foliage?! (points if you just got the Jim Gaffigan reference) I thought I'd share these bright and fun photos with you of the Buckman family today to remind you that Winter doesn't last forever. But really the Buckman's they LOVE winter! They own ski/snowboard shops all over the central PA area. I actually used to work for Brad at his store in King of Prussia! Snow, Blizzards or just plain cold and they've got you covered when it comes to winter wear and gear! This sweet family has been through a lot over the past few years as Jenny has battled with her health and had surgeries. Praise God for His healing! And its so wonderful to see all these sweet smiles after such hard times! Here's the Buckman family mini-session:
Moxham - Lifestyle Shoot
GUYYSSSS ... I am SO excited to show you these images! I've been dreaming and hoping and praying to give people REAL photos - like of their real true life - and its really happening!!! I have such sweet photos of my own family that were taken in our place, in our regular clothes, doing our regular thing and those photos - they just mean the world to me. I know I'll be able to look back on them and remember life as it TRULY was! So that's what I want for others.
I was recently spilling my guts about this dream and some of the inspiration I'd had, at a church event to sweet Alison. She was totally tracking with me, saying that she'd actually been wanting to plan for some new photos of her and her sweet husband, Jordan. So we talked about them - what they like, how they spend their time and we planned for an awesome afternoon at their place with my camera.
It was so exciting for me to see how excited they were for these photos. I did my best to guide them while also allowing them special time with each other. I had them ask each other questions or make confessions and relive memories. They read through a journal they kept when they first married and bought their house. They brought the family together, including all 6 of their sweet animal children, and snuggled on the couch. My favorite moment was watching them sit on the front stoop of their house and each take a moment to pray for their family's time in that home. This is what dreams are made of - love, family, coffee, a blanket on a cold afternoon and someone to snuggle close with and call your own.
Francesco - Baby Journey
Oh my, I was SO excited to meet little Francesco at the beginning of the new year! I got to take Caitlin and Tony's maternity photos back in September and we had such a wonderful time, chasing the sun and skipping on rocks in the creek that night, just capturing that sweet baby bump. Now he is here and adorable, of course! The Serrao family has chosen my new Baby Journey package which is a series of 5 photo sessions to capture so many of the wonderful changes that take place over the course of little Francesco's 1st year. This couple is so easy going and were so sweet just loving on their new little addition.

Davis Family - Fall Mini-Session
Tricia and I serve on the same team together at church. I've so enjoyed getting to know her and her sweet family! Lucas and Payton did an amazing job - pure naturals in front of the camera ;) I enjoyed taking photos of Tricia and her husband Mark as well. As I watched them interact I couldn't help but be overwhelmed at the great work God has done in their family and smile at the loving relationship they obviously have with each other.
These Fall scenes are making me long for the sunshine and the Spring! Until then enjoy the smiles from this great family, they're sure to brighten your day!
Calvo Lifestyle Shoot
I'm interrupting all the wonderful Fall Mini-Session blog posting to show you something I'm really excited about - my first LIFESTYLE shoot!! Lately, I've been thinking about how important it is to me to have special memories of real life and so I'm working hard to give that to others now!! This is a shoot where you invite me into your home, tell me how you enjoy spending time together and then I let you do those things and I take the pictures! I might help you along here or there with a pose or two and I also enjoy asking questions to loosen you up and get to know you and your family better. But really it is all about you and your family just BEING TOGETHER.
The Calvo family couldn't have been more fun to work with. They had all kinds of ideas of things they wanted me to capture! Poppi Calvo read a special journal they kept during the girls first years, Fifi Calvo read the girls a special binder of recipes, Kristina and her mom looked at wedding books to plan together for her upcoming wedding, they played board games and music together over coffee and cheesecake and loved on all their sweet animals. It was such a fun glimpse for me into the time they enjoy together and their sweet family bond.
