It is really is so sweet to take photos for people you know! I'm so thrilled for Lindsay and her cutie family as they have welcomed precious Eli. Lindsay had her first son just weeks before my Theo was born - so we have shared pregnancy and newborn baby fears, worries and triumphs together these past few years. Eli was a champ and just snoozed the whole shoot and Josiah had some fun in front of the camera making for some adorable candid shots! Here are the Nwodobo family photos:
You know when you see a beautiful photo of a good looking family - you make assumptions. I do it too! I think, "Looks like they got it altogether!" "Looks like things are going great!" But ya know one picture can't tell the whole story - but it can be a great testament to the story!
The Schultz' family has been through a lot! Yes, they have 2 handsome young boys, but it was a long journey of pain and struggle to bring them into the world. Marcee suffered through HG (hyperemesis gravidarum) which is more than just 'morning sickness', it is constant severe struggle of intense sickness, with both her pregnancies. Those were both truly difficult years, but this picture is a testament to God's help and faithfulness.
I love looking at these pictures and thinking of God's care and this family's strength! I love photos that tell a story, but these pictures of testimony almost bring me to happy tears! Here is the strong and super sweet Scultz family:
Seriously folks, does it get any cuter than this?! The sweet Sames family brings a smile to my face. I've just had the chance to start getting to know them this year and they are the sweetest. A few things I've gathered about them is their love for their kiddos, their value of hard work and their servants hearts. Pretty great, right?! Their sweet little Savannah was a natural in front of the camera! and I can't get over that cutie little Cullen! Enjoy this sweet Fall mini-session of this great family:
I feel like sometimes life just isn't fair - like honestly, it is not acceptable for me to be able to dive into a WHOLE CAKE, but if I was one then, of course, "Sure! In fact, GO FOR IT!" haha, I'm kidding (or am I?) I had such a fun time watching sweet Roman celebrate turning one and being rewarded with a cake ... he however didn't dive in like I personally would. Sprinkle by sprinkle he started to warm up, we even tried to make it a little fun and messy, but unlike me and his mama, Roman must not have a sweet tooth, or not yet anyway ...
The first year is full of so many milestones and me and Kayla have worked through a lot of them together as mama friends! I was happy to celebrate with this cute little guy! Happy Birthday Roman!
Isn't it crazy how time flies?! I remember holding little DJ in the hospital days after he was born, and now he's a sweet little 5 year old boy. Sigh. That's gonna be me soon (insert all the crying emojis) with my little Theo growing up! Anyway, now DJ is a big brother to little Elyse. They loved running around in the leaves and exploring together at our shoot. Their mom and dad love them so much and its been sweet to watch their family grow.
